Homeowners typically don’t know what to look for when choosing a contractor and contractors don’t typically understand the needs of the homeowner. We are a unique business that takes lead generation to the next level. Rather than just sticking homeowners with any contractor willing to spend $75, we actually hand select the contractors that we represent. When a homeowner signs up to request a quote I, personally, will contact them to schedule an appointment and if they choose to use our services I, along with a project manager, will see them through the process from start to finish. I’ve seen too many roofs installed incorrectly to know that people are not getting what they deserve. Our goal is to install a quality roof system at a competitive price with the assurance to the homeowner that someone is working on their behalf to get the job done right! Hi, my name is Rick Lundgren. I’m a ’98 graduate of UMASS Amherst with a degree in Building Materials and Wood Technology. Since then I’ve been working in the industry. I started out in the wholesale lumber market, then moved to an estimating position for a building specialties company, and ultimately started selling roofing to homeowners in 2000. In those 9 years working for different companies I’ve learned a lot about the business and often times found my self very frustrated with how customers are treated by contractors. (Bad installations, no communication, poor clean up, etc.). I know I can do a better job! So now, married and 3 kids later, I’ve come up with PriceMyRoof.com to not only help homeowners find the right contractor, but to help contractors build their business through referrals.
